About me
I am a college student studying Computer Science and am currently in my 2nd Year. My passion for technology started started from when I helped manage a family-owned internet cafe as a kid. Some of the responsibilities I had was to maintain hardware and software on all computers. Today, I am an IT Project Lead for a company called EMRCPR. Additionally, I like to develop programs that people can use on a daily basis ranging from IoT Devices, apps, and automation bots. I love working in teams and brainstorming ideas with other people. I also make sure that once I start something I'll see to it's completion. I am currently looking for Software Engineering internships or other experiences that will further improve my knowledge in tech and with people.

NextPlay
Reddit Stock Scanner
Programmed a Discord stock bot with Python. Utilized Praw(reddit) and Yfinance(yahoo) API’s. Developed a search algorithm used to scrape stock tickers mentioned in reddit posts. Results are displayed inside a discord server with a 2-week statistical chart and a graphical representation of the price trend. Hastened the search for a profitable stock and used daily by members of the discord channel.
JobScraper
Indeed Jobs Filter Tool
Webscraper programmed with Python and utilized the BeautifulSoup and requests library. Parsed through job listings in Indeed according to the user’s search parameters. Only the listings that satisfied the search are returned are displayed. Manipulated URLs to make search queries on the website. Learned alot about data collection on the internet. Greatly decreased the amount of time required to find a suitable job.

Full Stack Website
Full stack website developed using Python, HTML, and CSS. Utilized the Django framework for the backend and implemented security features, authentication, and database management. Affixed a “Contact Me” that visitors can fill up to send a message to a personal email. Learned about SQL, Internet Error Codes, POST and GET requests, and CSRF authentication tokens.

Voiced Windows Virtual Assistant
Python Virtual Assistant. Launches on startup and greets the user. Allows vocal control of the operating system including searches on the web, opening/closing programs, and shutting down the computer.
